A tribute to the Caribbean 1000

This watch is a pure product of modern Swiss watchmaking. Ollech & Wajs Zurich It offers it in two versions: OW C-1000 with black nylon strap and the OW C-1000 S with stainless steel bracelet and links of rice grain.
Moreover, both incorporate a 39.5 mm stainless steel 316L stainless steel case that is water resistant to 1000 m, a reinforced screwed caseback, domed sapphire crystal and a special crown screwed with triple seal. The 60-minute unidirectional rotating steel bezel with ceramic insert is used to measure immersion times. In the black dial, the indexes and hands are covered with SuperLuminova, which offers excellent readability at great depths. There is also a date window hosted at 6 o’clock.
These two pistons are driven by a modified ETA 2824-2 OW5 movement, equipped with an Ollech & Wajs Zurich 1956 engraved main plate and an OW machined rotor. This magnificent mechanism of 25 rubies beats at a speed of 28,800 vibrations / hour and offers an energy reserve of +/- 38 hours.
