For this spring of 2020, Citizen presents its latest model of the Eco-Drive family. A light and sober watch, equipped with advanced functions and available at a very reasonable price. Focus on this Eco-Drive Pilot Chronograph.
As you can see, the latest creation of the Japanese brand is not without its strengths. First, physical, with its simple, modern and no-frills design, illustrated by a black stainless steel frame, from the 41mm cushion-shaped case to the bracelet.
On the dial, also black, we find the inspirations of pilot watches with large hands and luminescent white numbers, the triangle index framed by two points at 12 o’clock, as well as a fine second hand at the red end. TheEco-Drive Pilot Chronograph it also has a date window at 3 a.m. and two additional counters at 6 a.m. and at 12 p.m. A wealth of practical information, therefore, maintaining a simple appearance for a highly readable watch. The set is protected by a mineral glass.
Now we move on to technical advantages. At the heart of this watch is a B642 caliber that powers the hours, minutes, seconds, date, and stopwatch functions. Not forgetting, of course, the flagship technology of Citizennamely the Eco-Drive, which allows you to generate power from any light source. Outcome? A watch that doesn’t need a battery. In addition to that, theEco-Drive Pilot Chronograph Incorporates additional energy stored in a rechargeable battery. This will allow each model to run for up to 210 days in complete darkness. A great performance, you’ll agree! Finally, this new chronograph allows diving up to 100 m (10 ATM).
